Virgin Banana Colada

1 very ripe banana
6 oz pineapple juice
1 1/2 oz coconut cream
1 cup crushed ice

Cut the banana into chunks, and add to a blender. Add the pineapple juice, coconut cream and crushed ice. Blend well at high speed. Pour into a collins glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, a pineapple wedge, and serve.

Apple and Starfruit Juice

3 garla apples
2 freshly picked starfruits
1 tsp sugar

Combine ingredients in a blender for 2 minutes, and serve.

Rose and Thistle

1 very ripe banana
1/2 cup strawberries
6 oz milk

Slice the banana and add it to a blender with 6 ice cubes. Add the strawberries and milk, and blend well. Pour into a collins glass, and serve.

Banana Grape Smoothie

2 large bananas
2 handfuls red, seedless grapes
1 cup ice
1/4 cup milk

Place the bananas and grapes into a blender and mix until it is a “smooth” liquid. Add the ice and blend until crushed. Add milk, mix until smooth and pour into a hurricane glass. Serve.

Banana Strawberry Shake

1/2 lb frozen strawberries
1 frozen banana
2 cups fresh apple juice

Blend all together in a blender until smooth.

Chocolate Fudge Shake

8 oz half-fat milk
2 scoops ice cream
whipped cream
1 chocolate fudge brownie
1 oz flaked chocolate

Combine the milk, ice cream and brownie in a blender and blend for at least 30 seconds. Let the froth settle before pouring into a tall glass. Add a mountain of whipped cream to the top and scatter the flaked chocolate onto the top.

Apple Berry Smoothie

1 cup berries
2 sliced apples

Combine berries and sliced apples in a blender, blend, and pour into suitable glasses.

Banana Cantaloupe Smoothie

1/2 sliced cantaloupe melon
1 peeled banana

Juice cantaloupe, pour juice into blender, add banana, and liquify.

Grape-Lemon-Pineapple Smoothie

1 cup grapes
1/4 skinless lemon
1/2 skinless pineapple

Place ingredients into a blender and liquify.

Kill the Cold Smoothie

1 slice ginger
1 lemon
1 cup hot water

Take a one-inch slice of ginger and juice one-quarter of a lemon, and add both to hot water. Add cardamom if desired.

Kiwi Papaya Smoothie

3 kiwis
1/2 seeded and sliced papaya

Throw everything into a blender and liquify.

Pineapple Gingerale Smoothie

1/4 inch slice ginger
250 g (1/2) skinned, sliced pineapples

Add to a blender and liquify.

Coffee Yogurt Shake

Ingredients:
1.00 c -Mineral water
0.50 c Yogurt, plain
1.00 ts Instant coffee
Artificial sweetener, to equal 1 tsp sugar
1.00 ts Sugar
0.13 ts Ground cinnamon
6.00 -Ice cubes

Directions:

Power Smoothie

Ingredients:
1.00 ct Plain low-fat yogurt (8 oz)
0.50 Banana
0.50 c Strawberries and/or peaches
0.50 c Juice (orange, cranberry, apple)

Directions:
Blend all ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. Nutritional Analysis: Calories, 284; Protein, 13 grams; Fat, 4 grams; Carbohydrate, 49 grams; Sodium, 163 milligrams; Cholesterol, 13 milligrams.

Pineapple Smoothie

Ingredients:
20.00 oz Unsweetened pineapple chunks
1.00 c Buttermilk
2.00 ts Vanilla extract
2.00 ts Liquid sweetener
Mint Leaves–Optional

Directions:
Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup juice. Freeze pineapple chunks. Place juice, buttermilk, vanilla, sweetener and frozen pineapple into a blender container. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with mint if desired.
